I have far too much time on my hands, rather than spend my free time doing something productive, I have instead decided to make of list of my top 500 movies. This is by no means a "Greatest Movies of All Time" list; while it does include some of the usual suspects (The Godfather, Dr. Strangelove, etc.), it also includes a lot of guilty pleasures and even a few bad movies. Not to mention there are many "classics" that I dislike (Forrest Gump, The Graduate, Saving Private Ryan, Taxi Driver, to name a few); whenever I see these movies pop up in Top 100 lists, I usually groan. This list has been in constant flux; there are many movies that I still have to see, so this list could easily change next month, next week, or even tomorrow. Without further ado, here is my list:
